I ahve the saem thing start eve see splash screen then a black screen instead of the login screen. I can get past this by deleteing the whole of the cache folder, but have manged to narrow ti down to just deling the ini fiel in the root of cache ...

Thanks I already tried that, I am having to del the settings folder ever time, and yes i had to reisntall from scratch, but i was getting this any way after the patch and thought soemthign had gone wrong with the patch. I dont even bother copying...
